PITTSBURGH —The David L. Lawrence Convention Center played host to the Momento Con convention this weekend.

‍

This weekend marks the convention's inaugural event and is based on the CW series "Supernatural."

‍

The event had 140 vendors, artists and cosplayers and offered guests autographs, photo ops and meet-and-greet sessions.

‍

Several Supernatural cast members like Misha Collins, Mark Sheppard, Rob Benedict, Ruth Connell, David Haydn-jones, Adam Fergus, Jim Beaver, Alaina Huffman, host Clare Kramer and Pittsburgh-native Jeffrey Vincent Parise were at the event.

‍

"It's like a big family where everyone gets together and spends the weekend. After all of us have been in quarantine for the past year and a half with the pandemic, everyone has just been overwhelmingly happy," said Casey Bassett, Momento Con promoter.

‍

Promoters told Pittsburgh's Action News 4 there are plans to bring the convention back to Pittsburgh next May.
